AIKO wins ESG Transparency Award

Düsseldorf, 7 December 2023 – AIKO, a world-leading new energy technology company, has won this year’s ESG Transparency Award.

The ESG Transparency Award is presented by EUPD Research, an international market research and consulting company with a focus on renewable energies and corporate health. ESG stands for Environmental, Social and Governance and includes a comprehensive set of rules for a company’s sustainable and ethical actions.

Jury: AIKO with an outstanding result

The award jury has stated that AIKO is “one of the national and international pioneers in business who have recognized the importance of transparent sustainability reporting.”

Christian Peter, Managing Director of AIKO Energy Germany GmbH, said: “We are very pleased to receive the ESG Award. This recognition means a lot to us as we attach great importance to sustainable corporate management and align our growth with ESG principles.”

Companies that receive the award have shown that their environmental, social and governance reporting are examplars in addressing the protection of people and the planet. The ESG Transparency Award particularly highlights the transparency of the companies‘ ESG reports. In the jury’s evaluation, AIKO has reached the highest level of “Excellent” for its reporting.

Earlier this year AIKO joined the UN Global Compact to reinforce the company’s committment to contributing to sustainable development.

AIKO has been recognised in multiple awards this year. It won the Intersolar Award 2023 and the Red Dot Design Award for its ABC photovoltaic modules.
